In May 2024, between our original research and information kindly provided to us by USAC Racing officials, we were able to finish uploading all available data into our statistical database. It is believed by USAC officials that they - and now by extension, this site - possess full field rundowns for each and every National Midget race from 1961 to present. For the first five years of this tour (1956-1960), poor record keeping and a clerical error has left a number of races incomplete even to USAC officials. This very small percentage of missing full rundowns adds up to just 40 races altogether - you can view that list here. If you can help fill in these final missing pieces, please contact us; for now we are considering this project completed pending the missing info. As much of this data was prepared for the publication of USAC's official book - Guts & Glory, The USAC National Midget Championship 1956-2022 - we encourage our readers to purchase that book to show appreciation for USAC's willingness to share their detailed records with the general public. |
