In January 2025, our site finished backfilling the complete statistical history of this tour. Each and every race in series' history is believe to have a complete and comprhensive rundown available. We consider the start of this series in 2001, when Grand-Am Road Racing took ownership over a series known as the Motorola Cup. While the divisions and general management of the series remained the same, Grand-Am (and subsequently IMSA) effectively reset series records. Motorola Cup information is available in a different section of the site.

Statistician's Note: Please note that for 2001-2010, Grand Am published race results with only driver's last names. Throughout building those years out, our site relied on a bevy of secondary information - timing sheets, entry lists, team PRs - to map correct first names to those last names. While we remain highly confident we have correctly done such name matching, it is possible due to some ambiguities there is a misattribution. If you discover such an error, or have additional results sheets that verify our records, please contact us.
