The Third Turn finished backfilling the complete history of this tour in October 2024. Note: Prior to 2002, BMW still partnered with ADAC to promote an open-wheel single-seater series. Usually that series was called "Formula ADAC", though sometimes it was also called "Formula BMW ADAC". Over the 2001 winter, BMW announced that they were taking over full ownership of this series as well as providing a new chassis/formula specification. As such, we consider this series statistically separate from the pre-2002 series, though some services do list them as one continuous series. We are researching the pre-2002 Formula ADAC history and hope to present it in a different section in the near future. |
