The Third Turn covered this series during its only season. At the completion of 2016, this series' sister tour, the Sky Financial Super Late Model Series (renamed the Market Tire Western Speed Association Championship Series), expanded to Edmonton International Raceway making this series redundant. While the 2017 MTWSACS schedule matched the 2016 ARCS series, we consider the MTWSASC the successor of the Sky Financial Series since it was run by the same ownership group and the ARCS abandoned as it was no longer necessary.
