The Flying Tigers have run as a top support division at Thunder Road since as far back as 1963, and continuously since 1982. Have also been running as a support division at White Mountain Motorsports Park in it's current form since 2011.

After introducing a touring schedule for the cars in 1990, the ACT has sporadically dropped and picked the series back up in the seasons since.
