| In October 2024 our site finished back-filling the complete history of this tour. This series evolved out of the Formula Renault 2.0 France, which some historians consider part of a continuous series dating back to the 1970s, though contemporary literature reflected this as a "new" series as it graduated from a national title to an international one. This separate approach seems more consistent with how Renault recognized series titles, thus we keep this as its own two-year series separate from a French-only series that ended in 2007. | |
