STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
This race (hard to believe as it is) was actually shortened by a freak snowfall. An extreme cold snap (for August) settled over Alberta the day of the race, resulting in temperatures never eclipsing 42 degrees the whole day. The snow started on lap 379, bringing out a yellow and eventually the red.
